EORI Assistance

Get a GB or XI EORI number — fast, without the paperwork headache.

An EORI number is the key that unlocks UK customs movements. Without one you can't file a declaration, you can't be named on an import or export, and in most cases you can't appear on a GMR. Our EORI Assistance service walks you through obtaining a GB EORI (for mainland UK trading), an XI EORI (for Northern Ireland-linked movements) or both, including the supporting VAT / Companies House evidence HMRC now asks for. We handle the application, follow up if it's delayed, and once it arrives we make sure it's correctly linked to your CDS and GVMS accounts — because an EORI that exists but isn't properly tied in still fails at the gate. For overseas businesses trading into the UK we can also advise on the indirect representation model and work with a UK-established customs representative where that's the cleanest route.

Frequently asked

How long does an EORI take?

HMRC usually issues a GB EORI within a few working days once the application is complete. XI EORIs can take longer because the supporting evidence requirements are heavier.
